UPGRADING IFINIX PHONES TO LOLLIPOP 

Dear esteemed infinix fans I’ve prepared this tutorial as a guide to help fans update their phones via flash tool without any hiccups.  

Let’s keep it simple and short.  

Requirements before proceeding. 

1. Vcom port driver====Click here to download 

2. Infinix rom .zip file== infinix x551 20150813 

                     ==Infinix x507Lollipop beta version3 20150811                    

 ==  infinix  zero 2(x509) Lollipop beta 2.0 20150806   

3. Latest Sp flash tool==Download here 

4. A pc with healthy usb port and your infinix usb cable and full charge. 

5. Obviously the infinix phone which should have a 90% charge. 

6. Back up your files and contacts  

A.Installing Vcom port driver 

1. Extract the downloaded vcom driver. 

2. Go to device manager>click action>click add legacy hardware 

3. Under welcome to add new hardware click next 

4. Select advanced option and click next 

5. Select ‘show all devices’ and click next. 

6. Click have disk 

7. Browse to your vcom extracted folder and select the driver setup up file and click     open, then ok. 

8. Select Mediatek preloader usb vcom driver and click next. 

8. In case a warning comes up just click install anyway. For windows 8 and above please disable driver signature enforcement as explained here 

9. The final look at device manager should be like this 

B.GET YOUR PHONE READY 

1. Make sure phone has about 90% charge as well as your pc. 

2. Enable usb debugging under settings>developer options 

3. Connect to Pc…ignore any driver failure warnings.  

C.FLASHING 

1. Navigate to the sp flash tool folder 

2. Run the sp flash tool.exe as admin 

3. Click on scatter loading. Navigate to the infinix rom folder and select the scatter file. 

    Make sure you select the firmware upgrade option as shown below 

4. Click on download. Restart your phone using the power button and wait. The phone will be upgraded on booting-Make sure you don’t tamper with usb at this point. 

6. After that confirmation close flash tool. Disconnect phone and switch it on. 

It will take some minutes before the setup is complete. Just be patient

Ans: Balance USSD is working on Telenor and Jazz, if its not then call help line and hear your balance :P and to subscribe any package, just dial its code and done ;)

3: Is it fast?

Ans: Yes, almost 400mb RAM is free all the time.

Procedure for Installing Recovery:

Download Philz Recovery.

Download Flashify or Mobile Uncle from Playstore.

Flash Go to Update Recovery on Mobile Uncle and Select Philz Recovery.

Procedure for Flashing ROM:

Download ROM.

Get into Philz Recovery.

Go to wipe and Wipe Dalvik Cache and Clean to Install New ROM.

Now Select ROM and Flash.

First Boot may take upto 3 minutes

App that can count calories in your food pics

Google recently unveiled an app at a tech conference in Boston that can guess the number of calories in your Instagram food photos.
Im2Calories is an artificial intelligence software that uses algorithms to estimate the number of calories in your Instagram food photos, Popular Science reported.
“The idea behind the project is to simplify the process of keeping a food diary, eliminating the need to manually plug your foods and serving sizes into an app,” Google research scientist Kevin Murphy said.
The system gauges the size of pieces of food in relation to the plate to generate a calories estimate, and the user will have the option to approve or disapprove and make corrections if the software misreads your pics.
“We’re going to average over a week or a month or a year. And now we can start to potentially join information from multiple people and start to do population level statistics,” Murphy was quoted as saying.
According to Murphy, the technology has other possible uses too, if it comes out successful in its current usage.
It’ not clear as yet when Im2Calories will be available.
